All
The car is Southwater based, lives just round the corner from me, looks great and sounds even better.
They also have a CooperS with a very similar plate (his wifes car I think)
Nice combo

Neil,
What do you drive then? I'll look out for you. I live in Southwater and drive a silver MY99 with gold wheels and large wing I'm getting an Afterburner tomorrow so you should hear me coming

No scooby at all at present, old V6 mondeo is current mode transposrt.
Recently sold an Elise S160 (very selfish toy when you've got wife and kids)so hope to use the funds from that to buy a new car that will do both jobs (family hack + weekend fun car + odd trackday etc)Scooby seems to fit the bill, hence my being on this board.
Main probelm is that wife seems to have other ideas on how to spend the money if you get my drift + I can't make up my mind which one to buy.

PS Is it yours I see at Christs Hospital quite often ??

Ian,
I fitted the exhaust myself - it was only the back box. Still a bu66er to do though as the nuts had seized up! Sounds miles better now - like a proper scooby .
Neil,
Sounds like you're in the same position as me. I wanted a decent fast car but have a 3 yr old daughter and another on the way. A scooby was the only answer, plus I'd wanted one for years. My wife loves it too! .
Not me at Christ's Hospital.
Monkeyboy,
Who did you get that response from then??

Weird to get that sort of response
The guy must be an enthusiast, it's just not the sort of car you would drive otherwise + his other car is indicative of him being interested in cars in general.
Takes all sorts I guess.
JV yeah similar circumstances, my girls are comming up for 6 and 2yrs old, so a 2 seater just doesn't cut it anymore. The mondeo needs to go as its getting on for 6 years old, and I can't afford to keep a toy and buy a new scooby as a family car.

Just thought of one major difference, my wife dislikes cars in general, and scooby's in particular, she has a real thing about cars with spoilers, wings etc
She wants me to buy a Jag
