Cool m8 small world i'd only just started out so i didn't/couldn't red line it in a santa pod stylee when i 1st saw ya go past but i fort it wood b rude not 2 keep up I hate 2 say it but UK300 did come from nowhere & use unorthodox (read naught) technique) but fortunately yer brakes worked well when he pulled out so breathed a sigh of relief lol
So wot's the story with yer motor then is it a rover coupe, wasnt sure but i had looked at these when 1st reseaching turbo power & remembered m8 saying chap at work had 1 & it went like stink & drank petrol ?

Rover 220 Gsi turbo, non of this coupe crap, they handle poo as the targa top really affect the shells stiffness. The hatch is a more more potent machine especially with the Torsen Diff and KYB shocks.

Funily enough the new engine only went in on Tuesday. Still got to fit the Piper cams and Chargecooler from my old engine.

As for going like stink... Its not bad, i just like to emabarass people in my humble rover. Doesnt really drink petrol. I can get over 35mpg on a motorway run, usually get around 25mpg tootling about.,

I'm a fairly local lad - live down the A5 in Atherstone and work on my uni year placement in Cov.
