Doubtful if it was a P1 if it was an R reg, unless it was some sort of cherished plate. Did it have pimp tinted rear windows?

Went past a bit quick but think it had tints at the rear. The number plate was a bit hard to read as it wasnt straight at the front...looked as if it was facing upwards!!!!
