Mind you, I agree with the sentiments about cap wearing drivers. Our survey said that nine out of ten people who wear caps while driving are incompetent. They should really stick to other forms of contraception.

Hmmm yep I had a C reg Cav SRi although only the 115bhp version! Hey, I was only 19, it seemed fast to me back then

I followed a cav turbo through milton keynes and had to keep standing on the brakes halfway between the roundabouts.. crackers..

Had an SRi130, thought it was fast till I raced a Chevette...
It was a feckin saloon too!!
Dead Straight road, Rev limiter in 4th going for fifth, 120mph on the nail..then this almighty roar and he was gone...
2.3 HS engine!!
(Cosworth built head 16V)
and a Richard Grant Aerofoil spoiler!
Nice to know that even our bog standard cars are the benchmark for these boys who spend hours polishing their cam covers and painting their drums!
