UK 300? in the ditch at the side of the M4
#1
About 11-30..... just westbound of junction 8/9......
I drove past, going too quick to stop, you had a guy with a van looked to be assisting......
Drove back the other way about 45mins later, you were out of ditch and on the hard shoulder talking on a mobile......
Hope you and the motor are OK, and what happened?

18 months with the car and never spotted except for when I have a slight altercation. Paul Palmer thanks for the heads up.
Hi steve, both the Wife and I are alright, got cut up and had to slam on the anchors, coincided with a diesel spill (according to nice guy in the van who towed me out of the ditch) and the car did a couple of 360's. Some slight damage to the motor (nearside wing, wishbone and a slight crump to the bonnet. I had only just got on the motorway at the junction, the tw@t did not hang around once the police had been called and I did not get his number. As you would expect mightily p1ssed off, but happy the wife is ok.
Numero 231 of 300 is off the road for about 3 weeks, assuming insurance co does not get to **** and lets the work go ahead asap
Cheers

Just to add, Mr was excellent. Normally there are a number of rants on here about plod, but today they were most helpful, not sarcastic in anyway and closed a lane so the van driver who stopped could tow me out.
Did not get over officious, no breathing bags etc,
So I also owe a big thank you to Thames Valley Police
Cheers
