Just coming up the hill near the Landrover garage. Sorry for the delayed wave - too busy looking for the speed limit sign!! Nice car.

Yep, that was me. Had just spent a few days in damp Kettlewell to get away from the lovely (sarcasm rules!)students I teach down here in Essex. We spent a couple of hours in Ripon before making our way home on the A1. Have to admit, I do like Yorkshire.

After a couple of days I said to the wife "Why is my car much dirtier than anyone elses?" "It's because you drive a bloody sight faster than they do! My toes curled up on quite a few of those corners!" Bit of a underhanded compliment I thought.
