Went in my mates car (a quality Seat MPV with blacked out windows ) and saw a couple of Scoobies....
A silver WRX which arrived the same time as us with a couple of couples onboard, J ** WRX I think - number plate moved onto the bonnet, debadged boot lid and a phat exhaust.
A DBM (V reg?) parked a couple of bays down from us.
U on here?

Hi Peggy,
Have you ever been to the Hants pub meet? I've been a few times but don't think I've seen your car before.
I'm on Hayling Island by the way. Just out of interest did you notice the engine running better/cooler after moving the numberplate? I was thinking about doing this the other day but it looks like you need a special tool to get the numberplate bracket off so I gave up!
Cheers,
Jamie

Hi Again Jamie,
Due to family commitments i havnt been able to make it to any of the meets yet even though i have had the car for 4 months now....
i fully intend to go to the next one which i assume will be next Monday??
to be honest i havnt noticed any differences in the temps on the car, but it does look good. What you need to get the bracket off a UK car is a tamper proof torx key, and as i work for a tool company i know just where to get them.....
BTW how do you get the smiles to work on your mails??

Peggy,
Tell me where I can get one of those torx bits and I'll tell you how to do smilies
Here you go, leave out the space after the first : or ;
: )
; )
: rolleyes:
: mad:
: confused:
: eek:
: D
: p
: (
Or you can find loads more at places like this.
You can display them by typing [ img]http://virus.lucifer.com/bbs/smilies/drummer.gif[ /img] again, leaving out the spaces after the '[' e.g.
I reckon the next meet should be a week on Monday as it usually coincides with my week off from work....

Hi Rachel,
i dont think i have ever seen an STI7 in Wrasash!! but to be honest my Scoob usually only comes out to play at weekends, so if you see a loon in a Silver x reg Peugeot406 waving, thats me
Is the next meeting definetly on the 14th?? If it is i once again wont be able to attend
i will be in sunny Tenerefe
i will have to send a picture of my car along to prove it exists.
