Silver one was me. Blue one, er, was somebody else who I was with. 500 miles + round trip for me.

Told them I was a bit disapointed with it considering how far I'd "Driven". (when that Helen asked) If your going to do it, I think you need to do the full day. Couldn't even be arsed to wait around at the end of the day to blag a drive in the Audi or Saab. Wouldn't of minded a blast in that TVR though

Did you take a look at that Evo? Talk about cheap nasty plastic? Body work sounded even worse than the scooby does when you tap it. "tink tink tink". Finish inside was disgusting.

Boxter: complete hairdressers car, complete with matching carpet on the door trim.

Might do the fullday in December if I can be arsed.

Never seen so many Army trucks in my life. You'd think something was going on Even saw a small tank on the A1, complete with bloke and goggles sticking his head out the top. (Probably RAF Regiment from Wittering)

The blue one was me

Spent the afternoon there and did not think much of it. Would have been ok if you knew someone working there as it seemed it was the only way to get a drive without hanging around for hours. Took around three hours there and back so not worth the six hour drive.

We arrived just to see you leaving

Tony, after your original post I applied on the website and Helen contacted me and invited me to go up there. I didn't realise how far it was from Bristol so I made my excuses. So it wouldn't have been worth the journey then ??
She did tell me to mail her in a couple of weeks about the next filming but don't know if I can be bothered now.

Cheers Jay

Jay,

Coming from Bristol you will have another hours drive on top of what I did. Guess 220 miles each way and depending on traffic 3.5 - 4 hours. If you do go, go for the whole day.

Wink

Jay,
A few who hung around after the shoots got rides but only in the 2 car shoot outs if your Uncle worked as Cameraman, played golf with the Director you may have. I wasn't going to as it was going to be a long day for me
Big plus side was Mike Brewer top bloke downside 'errr' not quite Suzy Perry
But a small insight into MGM Disney all make believe

Tony

ps did have a good giggle when a bloke turned up in a 'J' reg beat up Marina and the girl asked him if he was "Doing SUMO" to which he replied "This is my road car I'm here for the Audience LOL
