Forgot to mention, that camera is usually on - well my Bell tells me it is. Unlike the majority round here that never give out a signal !! So even better work done i'd say.

I've always thought it would be easier to spray the lens with black paint rather than burn the camera...

The one I saw looked like it had a bonfire set around the base of it!

 

I think someone got a bit confused as in Derby this morning I noticed a van replacing a burnt Traffic Master monitor camera!

Perhaps it burnt itself out..

A blow touch as used for plumbing etc are only about 15pound from DIY stores I suggest one of them.. not that I have tried it or that I am suggesting you do but no point you getting caught building a bonfire...

Looks like theres a phantom camera wrecker what a shame I saw one of the digital ones the other side of ilkeston towards trowell on its back yesterday, looks like some body had put a chain around it looks like my council tax will be going up again!
