I have just spent the last two days going back and forth between York and harrogate. I have seen about 8 scoobies and not one waved back...someone driving a silver WRX wagon didn't even look like they were awake....had to keep waving to myself..(does that really make you go blind??)

I finally got a response from one of the silver ones i normally wave at and does not reply. Lets just say waving with one digit gets a reply when waving with a hand does not.

How bizarre!!

PS I have given up unless i have seen them before and they have waved back, or they wave at me 1st.

lol yeah I will keep waving...starting to enjoy the 'what are you doing?' look from the other driver... followed by the 'do not make eye contact with the crazy person' body language.

OH well if you see a blue wrx with someone waving his arm off ..thats me...

oh saw a nice sccobie on the M42 on the way back down south..he waved...

I noticed this when I was in N Yorkshire at the beginning of June on holiday, no-one waved !!!!!
