I know that not everybody waves/acknowledges when they see another scooby but not one single new-age owner has ever responded to me. I don't think its personal (at least i hope its not!) as most classics wave back but there seems to be some sort of class divide thing between new & old.

What's with that?

What a load of crap! I drive a "new age" and I personaly don`t like the title! I`m sure later model drivers didn`t come up with that title for a start. I wave to all Subaru drivers, not only WRX`s but ALL Skoobies, I think only 30% respond. Possibly because they don`t see me in time, not, I`m sure that they are "just being ignorant". Drop this "class" thing, (I`m better than you because I drive a later model) I personally have never felt that way, a Scooby driver is a Scooby driver no matter what year it is!

Easy tiger! I didn't mean any offence to new age Scooby owners, i was just curious as to why they don't wave back (and i never said anything about being ignorant either). I agree completely that a Scooby owner is a Scooby owner no matter what. Also, i nod or wave to owners of Evo's and Pulsar Gti's because they're fun cars, what make or model year is irrelevant.

I actually find it to be the other way round! I wave to new and old, but the old ones look decidely down their noses at me or don't wave at all.

per month. Not real Scoob enthusiasts, they'd probably wave back if you were in a Volvo!
Not generalising of course - I geuss I'll have a bug eye one day.

I mistakingly waved at a corolla the other day and got a wave back top stuff

Waved at a WR blue new shape today and nothing. Not like they didnt see me as CW and DaveD went past before me. I have had a few wave back, well being a classic import owner I think they were waving .

I tend to find a modded car owner will wave, generally the standard brigade are the non wavers, doesnt matter if bug eye or old shape
