Disaster on M4 Bath junction - MY99 green wagon stopped in outside lane!!!
#1
Couldn't believe my eyes this afternoon...
P1ssing the rain, just passed the scene of a smash under the Junction 18 bridge on the M4 heading towards Bristol when my boss, who's driving his E-reg 911(!), suddenly swerves from the outside lane to avoid a green wagon stopped with it's bonnet covering the windscreen!!!
Looked like the catch had failed and the bonnet and lifted up and smashed the windscreen.
I think it was a woman driver, who was sat in the car with the hazards on, not the most sensible thing to do!
I hope the car was moved before somebody rammed into it...

Pontificating
Had the same happen to me at 05.30am on a rainy winters morn doing 70 on the M40 with an artic behind be, It happened so fast, thank god the artic was behind me, he obviously had a clear view sitting as high up as he was and slowed down with me and put his hazards on, could have been worse if it had been another car who may have not noticed what was happening.
