If it was around 4.00, i was on my way home after a visit to Powerstation down the A46 towards Painswick/Stroud. Blue/Black STi7.

Whooow my first spotting of a fellow scoobynetter.....must have been you, bang on the right time of day, very shiny, shame I didn't catch the number plate ( sat to high up and jammed between a couple o lard **** work colleagues)
could av sworn it said wrx on the back, though I did notice a pink red sticker / emblem on the boot

Yeah it is shiny at the moment, gave it the Wax Wizard treatment last weekend.

Lol that's what I told everyone, since Iv'e been on here Iv'e inquired about a dawes device, looked at some cat free headers / up pipe / cross pipe / manifolds (what ever the hell you lot are calling them at the moment ), looked at BOV's, ECU changes...the list is endless but alas the bank balance is not
