I've seen more an more new Scoobs in Yate over the past few months - I reckon all the ones below live in the area...

1. P-reg white wagon with gold 17s (me)
2. P-reg silver wagon with tiny 15 inch alloys (my dad!)
3. P-reg WRX with neon underlighting "The Beast" (Ben)
4. P-reg white wagon with gold 16s (Ben's dad)
5. V-reg loud sounding DBM (Snowcrash)
6. Even louder RB5 (Babber)
7. UK300 - haven't seen this one yet (Sideways)
8. Y-reg Silver bugeye with WRX no. plate (miserable bloke)
9. Very nice P1 that's rarely seen! (Steve B)
10. Silver wagon that looks like a Mondeo (Mouseman)
11. DBM with gold alloys and Morrettes that waves (whos this?)
12. Early silver saloon with later spec. rear wing (not on here)
13. Silver WRX wagon (bloke who works in the leisure centre)
14. Grey STI4/5? driven by a miserable woman who never waves
15. Green wagon who never waves (bald bloke)
16. P-reg red sport (dunno who)

Any more???

Not many EVOs about though...

Don't forget my R-reg MY 97, green with 17" gold speedlines. 'The beast' is Ben ship yes? That's a sweet motor. We seem to have an unusually large collection of scooby metal here for the size of town. We all should have took over the common this weekend for the Yate and South Glo'shire show

BTW that's two of us called Ben, it happens to be my name also

And don't forget the other black WRX with gold standard alloys, and twin head-lamps (Anthony T)

Black Beast does belong to Ben Ship and is apparently up for sale, that car is ******* quick. But in all fairness mine is getting there, the Tek 2.5 has made a hell of a difference

Lol, agree we never see the P1, you should let me and sideways take her around smart green

Black new shape parked on station road sometimes, by the bike shop.

Cheers Phill C

LOL that miserable bloke with MY01 Silver WRX number plate works in my place and knows me, and still doesn't wave!!

I'll always wave if I notice someone on the other hand, If my wife's driving the car she goes into a world of her own when driving (still scared of the scooby I think ) so she won't notice anyone unless you flash your lights like a madman....LOL

i was in work in bristol

beeches industrial estate... does that count as yate???

you need to go around the farmhouse strip.. the smarts green tyre destroyer.. or Chipping Sodbury High Street (cruise land )...

in the evenings only tho (i.e. 9pm till 2am)...

Thought all you Yate lads drove down Whiteladies Rd to the center every night. I drink just off the center and see 5-6 scoobs every hour there are tons of then down town ever night. Mind you by about 23:00 I see two of everything.
Unichip fitted on car now with booster control makes this thing fly more noticable extra power than I noticed on the scoobs I've had.

nice1 bob - only a select few of us do the whiteladies road route (myself and turbo)... no one else seems to bother, and are more interested cruising down the farmhouse strip trying to attract the attention of 10 year olds...

ahh also sunday i was in bristol (early evening) then went home and didn't go anywhere, next time your in the area - give me a yell 07866624598 and i'll show you the cruise route...

although there are a lot of scoobies in yate, we all seem to randomly set off for cruises although as myself and turbo live just off the farmhouse strip we both usually hear mouse/ben/etc booting it up and down the strip - while babber/sideways tend to go towards smarts green... plus the odd 205gti/nova going whineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, clunk, clunk, whineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, with Nelly's "It's Getting Hot In Here" emitting from a home made MDF Parcel shelf with 12"Sub and 16cm mid's off 2x600watt amps, on a crossover from a Pioneer headunit (you know the one with the 3D effects) sucking soo much power that the headlights don't work on main beam properly

Hey I used to have a Nova just like the cars you described earlier.Big stupid inch alloys, bean can exhaust, tinted windows playing Vanilla Ice on full whack through my home HIFI speakers wanging around in the boot.
Last I saw of that death machine was when I dumped it at Tileys as P/X for my Sport.

They were the days....that I would rather forget!!! thank god for Scoobys or I may have become really sad and become a Novanet abuser.
