It was me with the red WRX. Bugger, if i'd realised I would have come and spoke to you but you seemed to be in a very in-depth conversation!
The UK300 looked particularly tidy with the mud flaps on it.
Ended up having a bloody good time and got to see seven stages! Not many rallies that you can get that many in!

Hi Dave,
It was good having the wee chat re new vs old shape.
Didn't see you at any other stages, only managed to go to another one after Ayton, Fogo, stayed there for the full stage.
Got a bit cheesed off trying to get to the Swinton stage due to closed roads. The program should show where roads will be closed so it would be easier to get to each stage. Maybe I am just too lazy.
Can't wait until the Mcrae stages in 2 weeks, should be good.
Had to fill up with Optimax again! Now sounds a bit rough at idle! No more Optimax for me!
Cheers for the comments about the flaps, Mark, was up to 1am on Friday night fitting them.
Might see you guys at KnockHill next week if you are going?
Ewan

Dave, maybe its the downpipe? Has yours got a decat one? I was a bit dubious about Ayton but we managed to get quite a decent place in some trees, behind a metal fence where I think i've got some good photos. We went to Eccles after there.
Euan, you can get quite close to the stage at swinton(the rest were a nightmare,no parking on some of the side roads, marshalling seemed a bit overzealous on some)managed to get to a nice sweeping bend about a mile after the infamous cross roads.
i always forget the names of stages from the previous year, and didnt realise untill i got to ayton that i had been there last year(same corner)!!
mark,no downpipe, but decat center was thinking about a dp,but might change car next year, if so then ill wait until then(after chatting to euan,(uk300) the idea is growing on me as long as someone can persuade me that itll sound like the classic once it gets the full exhaust treatment
GM,marshalling,competing or just working???
