Lincoln Scoobs
Saw one of the North Hykeham haunters, green T plate, prodrive spoiler around midday on Moor Lane, just passing my old school NK. I was on foot with the family so didn't wave as you would have thought I was mad
Silver one with gold 17s (could be 18s
) at about 1800 exiting Hykeham road near rookery lane, as I was getting on to Hykeham Road and we shared a wave
First time I've seen two scoobs in Lincoln that are a) not wagons and b) not driven by old giffers that stare at you blankly
Come on own up then, who was it.....

I knew it was one of the Lincoln regulars that posts on here
I keep an eye out for you guys, and know a few cars from pics of meets you've had, just don't know car to username matches
Funnily enough, I recognised it as a scoob from about 150 yds away before seeing you pass us. My mum shouted 'There's a scoob' as you were about 200 yds past us, but I've got a finely tuned ear now for that exhaust

Sounds well nice
You'd be surprised how loud they are from outside, but oh so sweet
We were just at the turn off after NK on the right (bodmin moor close), think I must have heard you (judging from the time taken to pass) when you were about at the launderette opposite the first entrance to NK
Folks looked at me a bit quizzically as I stood waiting for a scoob to drive past having recognized the burble

cool, planning a trip to TSL next month to hear one of their down pipes.
I'm not sure yet, its a decision over the extra power or it being to loud.
The mrs's moans enough about it being to loud as it is.

I had one fitted to mine last week
At sub 3.5k revs, and light throttle, doesn't sound any different to standard DP (to me). Heavy throttle and/or above that, and it unleashes with a nice raspy (and LOUD) noise
Just make sure you keep it light throttle and low revs with the missus in the car

Have been driving my blue scooby X4**HVL around Lincoln for the past 16 months but have yet to be spotted. NKS is my old school as well, but it was NKGS then (clue as to how old I am, but I'm NOT an old giffer! Unless you class 44 as an old giffer!! And I would return any wave thrown my way)
we've got a meet on sunday, your more than welcome
