As any of you who were at the Ring last year will remember (those that got out of bed before 1:00PM anyway ), we saw Jeremy Clarkson sitting in an E-type Jag in the car park. What's he doing here we thought?
If you watched Clarkson's programme on Europe tonight you found out! Part of the programme about Germany featured the Nurburgring.
The first shot is of a UK W reg DBM Scoob (standard alloys) going onto the circuit. Thought it might have been my old car at first , but it wasn't! So who was it - buggered if I can remember

Chris,
have you got a "tall-screen" TV?? I spotted the DBM, but never noticed the wheels or reg!
mb
p.s. Isn't Clarkson the greatest And his "Speed" program is also spot-on!!

Chris, it was one of the Marks I think
Fairly sure it was MRK Mark, because he was running stock silver wheels...although I could be wrong as there was another DBM scoob who was not a member of out group but with the Biker posse...
Dammit I want to go on another trip to the 'Ring but I can't afford it...not fair

I'm pretty sure it was me! Frame-by-frame slow-mo replay of the numberplate looks like my reg.
As said above I wasn't part of the convoy of Scoobs that had gone across, i made my own way there. Didn't see too many people to say hello to as most of you were all hung over still on the saturday when i was there.
I spoke to JC, so knew what he was filming for. He was pretty intimidated by the run in the 'ring taxi and wouldn't take the E-type out on track himself

Sal, suffering a hang over, well there's a turn up for the books
At least this time it's not snowing, you weren't out in a blizzard until 5.30am watching a couple of loons trying to throw themselves downa snow covered slope in bin liners and then had to get up the next morning to watch the grand prix
