coming back next week via Porlock toll road and the hills in and out of Lynton and Lynmouth, so that'll make up for it.

Couldn't beleive how quick my car went up the hill out of Lynmouth last year (heading East).

You don't want to be going up the toll road, that's for the caravans. You want to be going up Porlock hill, much more fun especially at the bottom.

I do both, down the public road, then back up the toll road and back down the public road...................perhaps I need to turn around again and go back up the public road??????
