Default 450-500+ turbo required

As above , think my sc46 billet is on it's way out (again ) and will definitely not be replacing it with any of the sc range again ! Fed up with no response from Scoobyclinic about the cracked welds and crap housing so just want shot of it and try something else

What have you got ?

Cheers
Dave

If it is the housing wouldn't that be something you would have to take up with Garrett as SC turbos use there compressor housings,I'm sure if you phoned scooby clinic up they would deal with your concerns they run a very professional and well respected company.SJ.

Hi SJ

SC using their own exhaust housing 7cm or 7.5cm and SC using only CHRA from Garrett and billet wheel is their own(or Blouch which has been developed with SC together)

And agree SC is professional outfit and they should be able sort this easily

The turbo was purchased from them new and fitted by them so all is above board on that front , this is by no means a which hunt as I have used them a few times and have always found them professional , after a call to discuss the problem I was asked to put it in an email so I did and have heard nothing even with a follow up email , this is not the first failure of this type I know of and I was hoping to get it sorted as I do like the sc range , I do know they now use a one piece rear housing eliminating the welds so somewhere along the line they must have been seen as a weak spot , my turbo now sounds like a bag of spanners being shaken around . !

What's the cost on having it refurbed ? If that's a reasonably cheap route then I might give it a go
