MY02 Bug Boot Spring
After the right side boot spring for 02 bug, mine has just broken.

Looked on eBay, searched and only could find gas struts? May be not searching for the correct item?

I have never seen a spring like that on any Subaru. It looks like an after thought addition...

Should there be gas struts as I can see any? I would assume that the springs are for the boot release to pop it up.

Apparently the springs was added by Subaru when they fitted the prodrive rear spoiler to assist with holding the boot up,asked them and they don't have a part number?
