6 speed gearbox to fit a 2001 bugeye STi
Hiya, while i was away my gearbox gave way on my dad while he borrowed it (luck of the draw!!), originally my car was a wrx but it had an sti lump put in before i bought it so I'm figuring nows the time to upgrade the gearbox too.
My old code off of the car's paperwork was TY754VN2AA, but I'd prefer to upgrade to a 6 speed box if anyone has one?
Also if anyone could point me in the right direction for the correct code for one that would fit that would be awesome! I'm getting confused with all the codes I'm looking at?!

Make sure you get the propshaft, cradle, linkage and rear diff as well. The rear diff with need to be a 3.54.
You can use the 5 speed flywheel and clutch with a 6 speed, you can't do it the other way around If you go for a 6 speed flywheel and clutch too you'll also need the 6 speed starter motor.

You cant just install a 6 Speed box and turn the key buddy.
FWIW Ive used carriers that collect and delivery the following day for around £50.
Rob
ps - You may need to get your map looked at too depending what spec/map you have.

Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Several carriers available to you.
First- Mathew kibble transport, check website, ask for Dave. Tell him I referred you
Alternatively Soeedshift carriers but I'm not sure on there delivery availability.
Both are between £50 and £60 depending on postcode
Rob
Oh and you will need to palletise the parts securely in advance yourself, to which in fortunate to have readily at my disposal.
