Depends on what you call cheap, I have an old Kenwood sat in the garage you can have for £20 - Kenwood KDC 237 CD/Radio. I used it as an interim when I was looking for a decent iPod controller

I have got a pioneer cd player that I have spare. It can control an iPod if you get the adapter for it and has a remote control. Comes boxed with all wiring and cadge. The only thing with it is that I got it from the USA so will need a waveband expander to get all radio stations. I rarely listen to the radio so it didnt bother me.
