Looking for first Scoob.
Hoping to find UK MY98 standard car,4dr in blue with sensible mileage for £10K.
Warwickshire area dealer prices seem a little high compared to private advertisers? I think I will be waiting forever for one of them to come up with a car to meet budget.
Drop me an email if you are selling, pics appreciated. Money burning a hole!
Cheers
Matt

only mod which might cause concern is the downpipe but the original cat downpipe is included with the sale of the car
all 4 tyres are new
new mot
engine is totally standed
what is very annoying is the trade price offered and the forecourt price they will ask for £11.500/£12,000 why do they always have to make they make enough out of the v6
sorry no pics yet trying to borrow a digital camara

Steve, agree - dealers should be less greedy sometimes, especially as you say they are making money on the new vehicle :-( All everybody wants is a _fair_ deal.
Did you have to specify the downpipe on your insurance? Forgive my lack of knowledge here but is this a replacement inlet manifold that is somehow unrestricting the car? Also were any of the non performance related mods required as "named" on the insurance?
I am definitely interested in your car. Don't want to jerk you around. I have to ensure the guy over the road will still rent his private garage to me (will double check tomorrow).
I have to make sure I can get insurance - have been quoted by Tesco's and DLine but only by theoretical cases via online quote (am 31, just no NCD so should be OK just not cheap).
Would really like to see a pic, appreciate you are trying to get hold of a digi camera (could see if a print shop will scan a pic to floppy for you?).
Sorry, so many questions :-) Feel free to take this to private email if you like?
Cheers

Steve
Daz
Thanks for the posts/email about your cars.
I have checked with the guy over the road tonight about his garage. I am looking at end of May earliest before I can rent it :-( No point me pursuing purchase until I have the garage, for insurance and peace of mind.
Thanks for your time anyway chaps.
