Default Big turbo for a Classic wanted (450bhp)

I'm in the market for a big turbo for my 2.0 classic and I'm looking for a good condition turbo that will produce somewhere in the region of 450bhp without silly lag.

Does anyone have anything like that for sale? If not do you know of anything for sale or have any suggestions what I should look out for?

Thanks,

Paul

I've seen this turbo in Neil@Slowboy Racing garage and this turbo is in good condition and will make 430-450bhp.

If you contact directly Neil@Slowboy Racing will be much better.

I saw that but thought it'd fallen through, see if he answers my questions. Sounds like it might be what I need though. What are you considering?

I knew little about this turbo but I did wonder if it'd do those figures on my engine and I think it could be what I'm after, I just don't want something too laggy. Thanks for pointing it out See how it goes

I'm pretty sure a 20g won't even get close I think that's maxed out in the late 300's

I'm considering an MD321, what does the V mean?

What's the difference between the 321 and the 555?

Thanks

The md555 is a turbo dynamics turbo. The md321s/t/v are lateral performance items. The v is quite close to a gt30 in terms of power and not alot of lag. Lateral will be releasing an md321v billet very soon which should produce more power without increasing lag.

As far as I am aware it's a gt30 the 555, it was reconditioned by turbo dynamics and I'm trying to get a copy of the reciept for proof but there is no play and spins very freely

Thanks everyone for the replies so far and I've just replied to your PM Naz before reading this.

What is the difference between the MD321 s, t & v?

I've been told a GT30 would be quite laggy on my 2.0?

Hi Paul

almost all turbos which making 450bhp are based on one core Garrett GT30(sometimes GT28).

Off topic, but, what are your plans for the inlet manifold Paul?

Don't think an inlet pipe fits under the Phase 1.

It could fit but it'd mean a lot of work so I'm going to get a 90 degree samco and route the intake the normal way for now. I'd ideally like to get a new ecu that doesn't require a MAF but this solution will do for now mate still not bought a number plate
