Default Need an oil cooler

Hi does anyone have an oil cooler for sale or where to get one from as ive just rebuilt my engine and as ive had some machining done to the cdb to take a rear thust crank there are small aluminium shavings in side it as ive washed it in a parrafin bath and blew it out with air gun loads of times im still getting small glittery bits so i aint taking no chances so want to put another one on

Cant see how an oil cooler will help with fillings from the block?

I'd get the block chemically cleaned personally.

I believe the OP is referring to an oil modine, as per the link below

http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/part...&var=0&dc=&gen=

If you were to suffer bearing failure etc and the oil was contaminated with metal fragments then you would have to change this due as it cannot be cleaned out and would require renewal.

Sorry forgot to say, don't buy a second hand modine always buy a new one as you never know what has been through it before you get it.
