what model and year is your car? does the turbo have a bend on it where the pipe from the air filter goes or is it straight

As all the lads have asked bud you need to check what type your TD04 turbo is? i'm assuming you have a WRX wagon hence why you want a TD04? as if its a impreza saloon you will proabably find its TD05 and not a TD04.

Now if your impreza is 1997 or before then it will be one of the above but the above will need a 90 degree snorkel (this is how the turbocharger compressor housing was manufactured by mitsubishi)

Now if its a TD04 with a straight inlet and no 90 deg snorkel then you have possibly got a newage car?

hope the above helps in making a decision
