Can't afford a new one, plus I'm changing the car in a few months.....

Any ideas where and more importantly, how much?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Is it really worth putting a re-conditioned clutch, not worth the money. After a short usage, u will have the same problem.

I could print the price, but nobody would believe me.....

Let's put it this way, about half the price of one from your friendly Subaru dealer........

As some people behave like they are still at nursery school, try the following for a cheap clutch all range from £160 to £180 prob +vat:

http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/used_parts.htm
http://www.midland-impreza.com
http://www.townendgarage.co.uk/parts.asp

I have not used any of these kits so cant comment on quality.

Cheers
Garry

Thanks, tried and have prices from the above - however, ScoobyDoo555's post suggests being unbelievably cheap, so it seems worth following up.

Grade A appear about the best bet at the moment.

Mark (from kindergarten )

riocco - have a look at the links posted by my99; also try:
http://www.gradea-subaru.co.uk/products.htm

145+vat.

As for fitting, goodness only knows - I plan on diy.

Problem with these things is people read in different tones, things are not read in between the lines where they are assumed to, and wires get crossed.

Wouldn't worry about it...

- Mark.

quote "As some people behave like they are still at nursery school"

No offence my99, but what's it gotta do with you?

Most people would have assumed that if I'm not willing to divulge the information publically, they would repsect my wishes.

The places you have suggested are more than adequate for providing supplies.

The nature of this post in the first place was to find out the deal about used clutches. The response was 'don't bother - get a new one".

On most occasions, I more than willing to share what limited knowledge I have and contacts etc. However, in this case, I'm not.

End of story.
