swap ECU's
I am currently in the process of upgrading to a 2.5. Been advised that the best course of action is to go back to a standard ecu due to it being able to componsate for the extra cc
I have a link plug in ecu which makes you MAF less. no anti lag or launch control. Simon(jollygreenmonster) has mapped my car 3 times with no issues with it and im sure he will vouch for me.
im after a standard ecu for a bug wrx but it must have the ecutek licence.
My spec is in my profile and thats what its mapped to.
cheers

I mapped it myself using a base map from an sti and tweaking it using the Rom Raider program. Had a bit of help from my local tuner but once you learn it its noot too bad.
It runs great! its the standard WRX ecu.

Thanks mate, you can actually buy a map from an American company called XPT Tuning and just flash it to the ecu, i did that a while ago when I had no mods and the difference was great, I wish I had put it on a rolling road to find the figures out.
After a bit of tweaking this time, and learning the Prodrive BCS duties I managed to get a smooth run @ 1.2 bar on a big 16g TD05, can probably get a bit more but i dont want to push my luck,
