RB5 Boyo

Hi folks,
testing the water here for a P1 gearbox or maybe even a V5 sti box as im upping the power on my RB5 to around 350bhp, and wanting a stronger box.

The 6 speed boxes are getting far to expensive nowadays!!

Think the P1 has a close box the same as an sti but with a longer 5th gear if im right so that would suit me well as i dont want something that will leave my car revving the head of itself at 90mph!!??

If anyone has something like this let me know, has to be good low milage box with no crunching etc!!

P1 box 4000 rpm in 5th = 90mph roughly, but check whether the RB5 has 1.1 drop gears or 1.1:1, and/or what it's front and rear diff ratios are as the P1 is 4.44 front and rear unlike the UK gearboxes ( which is what I think the RB5 is)
