Default Sti 7/8 Undertray

Looking for an Sti 7/8 undertray to fit on my MY02 WRX with STI intercooler.

Would prefer to keep the WRX scoop for stealth reasons, but unsure whether thats possible.

Cheers,

Woody.

The STI undertray would need to be chopped and bent a bit to fit under the WRX scoop. A search on here should reveal how to do it.
I got my STI undertray from japanparts.com.

As an alternative you could fit an APS undertray for their larger intercooler. You can specify whether its for a WRX or STI scoop and this will flow more air to your STI intercooler.

I have an 01 WRX. I fitted an STi intercooler, but like you, wanted to keep the WRX scoop (stealth !).

I got the chassis no of someone on here with an 02 STi and ordered a brand new undertray from my local Subaru dealer. If you take one from an 02 STi, it will fit perfectly under your WRX scoop without cut'n'paste !

Only thing is, I paid £115 for the privilege !

Cheers for that, sorry i havn't responded to anyone, been busy at work.

As of today i have found a local blacksmith who is used to making custom stuff for hill climb & rally cars and is going to modify & fabricate my current undertray, and adjust the current air deflector to spread the air more evenly across the whole surface of the intercooler.

He is going to fabricate it with the car so that it is a perfect mate between the undertray and the intercooler, thus hopefully reducing the amount of engine heat getting in.

£115 for the undertray, dont know how they can sleep at night charging that much for a punched bit on tin.

Will post pics for anyone else that decides to modify their current tray.

Thanks anyway guys.

Woody.
