Yes they seem to be just that
However,the other dude's attempting fitting are up against it with the plugs a differant fitment,so im just hanging around incase they give in and sell them to me for a straight forward fit into my sti

I take it mark, your sti has a 16 pin plug on the left hand side and not a pin plug?

Yes fella,does your wrx not ?
I know the 2003 on wrx's have the 16 pin jobbie but unsure about bugeye units
