Hi all, I've recently bought a 52-plate JDM blobeye wagon that has a 9 month old Ninja backbox fitted...............which is too quiet.!

I'd ideally like to swap for an Afterburner backbox or similar, no bothered about exit but would prefer angled exit.

What have you got?

have you tried removing the resonator section before the back box mate? made a difference for mine. with full decat was noisy in the cabin on long journeys though.

Hi codie, may be an option, had a full decat on my last classic wagon..................beautiful sound but TOO loud and boomy in the car.

Still like the sound of the afterburner though...........

How about a TSL Firestorm? - usually reckoned to be on a par with an Afterburner. I've just had mine removed to go up to a 3" system. Newage fitting (mine's an 02 STI), about two years old, two owners. Pics here:

I'd be looking for about £120 delivered, less if you or someone else can pick it up. Not a swap though - I don't want the Ninja.

Hi mate.....very familiar with the firestorm as I had one on a classic for a while but it was way too boomy in a wagon, especially with decat.

I am however interested as I'm not running a full decat and have NO plans to either.

Where are you based?

Obviously I'd need to sell the Ninja before I considered the firestorm which could be a problem.

I'll certainly bear it in mind, thanx.
