Your Bailey dv. Hows it mounted?
If its just bolted to the cooler you could blank off the port with some stainless steel .080" or so should be just fine.
When i installed a much larger ic in my car the new dv location was right by my idle control solonoid. Not a hope in hells chance of getting a vlv in there. I blanked the port and used the original recirc vlv. Works a treat.

right can get hold of one, so if i change this i can(hopefully) sell my bailey one for a few quid, and my car wont be making silly noise every gear change(unless under 2000 rpm), but will it actually make any difference to my performance, when I removed the bailey one and blocked of the remaining pipe the car seemed a bit more laggy, so if i was to put a standard recirclating one on, would I notice any difference?
otherwise i'll spend my £15 on some cigars instead!

Dump Vlv's are a form of pressure release vlv. No performance gains.
As you know theres the recirculation valve which releaves pressure back into the system & theres the vent to atmosphere vlv. The ones with all that annoying pssssshhhhhtttttt noise. Not my cup of tea either. Still have my original plastic vlv. Does the job just fine.
