Speedo cable..
GUTTED!!
Can anybody help??Was fitting a mechanical de-limiter/MPH converter to MY93 yesterday..All was good, until I noticed that the plastic threaded part that screws into the gearbox was snapped.Upon further inspection, discovered that the thing was hanging in there by a thread, and had obviously been forced/bodged in previously. The thread machined into the gearbox seems fine,so I think I`ll get away with just replacing the lower end section of the speedo cable(inc. The little rubber grommit).
I know it`s quite a strange request,as I could just buy a whole new cable, but if anyone`s breaking a car,it could save me a longer and more annoying job!!
Thanks
