for some reson, my car has a td05. i was running a 7d ecu, seemed to work fine. if i can get an ecu witch works with my car. i'll be happy. my car runs fine now, but i dont like the limitor. as long as the car has boost from 2500 revs, i'll be happy.

If you are chipping your ecu it does not make it any better using a z4 compared to another as you will be running off the chip settings not z4 . Out of the standard ecu's for the td05 the z4 is considered the best , highest boost target with fueling .

this is true, the only thing about this z4 i hate is. the speed limitor + it runs on higher octane levels. it uses more fuel than if i run a uk ecu. if i found some thing that just changed the fuel & the limitor, then thats what i would do. regards the chip. the person who does the chips sets them different to the cars thay go in. and the £250 fully maped, is a bargin. all the chip does change is the limitor/ the fuel & the boost levels. but uses the standard map for the rest. thats why i say better with the z4. you now having the pro drive map. well i havent decided yet, persons keep asking about swoping. but i could get a standard ecu for £75 quid from scooby bits, i could sell this z4 for a lot more.

Unhappy

if no one will sell me a 7d uk ecu. then i'll end up chipping the z4, i'll pay £50 quid for it. unless i get some good offers for this z4 on a part chop. as i said, i can get a 7d for £75 at scooby bits. but the z4 i paid a lot more for it.
