Has anyone got a Space saver spare for use with 17" alloys available, please?

Default Space saver

just replaced mine with a full size alloy, so its going spare. It has never been on the road and is as new.
£20 + postage if your interested, or will meet within 30 miles Halifax

Surely the rolling radius between 16" originals and 17" are the same, so there will be no need for a larger space saver!?!

or am I missing something?

When I put my space saver up aginst the 17" wheel fitted to the car there is a noticable difference in diameter which surely can't be good for the diffs if I ever have to use the spare. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I think you're right regarding the diff, but have you got the old alloy to measure up against aswell. IF that has the same difference then you haven't got a problem regarding the diff.

The reason I posted is that I have just gone from standard 16's to 17" but the rolling radius is the same. (more alloy less tyre) and I hadn't even thought that it would be an issue.

Might be worth posting in General Technical or Wheels and Tyres! Hope you get the answer you're looking for.
