I need an auto gearbox for a 1995 wrx wagon.

What a nightmare!

I would like one as cheap as I can (obviously!) I have spent a small fortune on this car already and have only had it a month . If possible I would like some kind of warranty with it.

I have a garage who can do the work and my car was recovered to them but they can't get hold of a gearbox for me!

Thanks to everyone who has sent me messages PM. I hope I have a gearbox to do the job now! I will certainly have one at the garage at the start of next week.

Anyone any ideas on getting an auto gearbox for a 1995 wrx wagon?

I have tried API and they don't have one suitable.

I have tried Scoobybits and right now they don't have any either.

I would like to get one from someone reputable who can offer some sort of warranty.

HELP PLEASE! I am fed up of not having this car on the road and really could do with it when I return to work next week.

Could you not just put a manual in or does it have to be automatic as i think you can replace the auto for a manual straight swap ?

I would and be more than happy but I have been quoted about £1500 for a swap whereas a decent auto box will be in the region of £500.

Also, due to one thing and another the garage have agree that the labour cost for an auto box swap will be free this time!

Now I need a box.....
