Not sure about the technicalities but the VF35 spools up slightly quicker for lower down torque but not as much peak flow for out and out power. Makes an easier car to drive in day to day driving.
VF34s were fitted for about a year on the UK bugeye STi 2002 and after that it has been the VF35 to date.

the VF34 holds boost better than the VF35, they 35 seem to suffer a little from boost creep. (apparently)

I have a brand new, sealed in Subaru box, VF39 if you are interested.
This is the turbo used on the US (and soon to be released UK) 2.5ltr STi engine. Good spool and more scope.
£475 plus delivery or collected.

Dont know anything about the VF39, may not be suitable for my project so i need to research this more, thanks for the thought.
