Just been to pick my car up from my local garage after having the brakes looked at to be told that the brake caliper is seized on the drivers side and needs replacing. Owner is genuine and has told me that he can't find one locally and to buy direct from Subaru is £225 + VAT!!

Anyone know of any websites/companies I should look at for reconditioned/second hand or damned cheaper new calipers?

I'm after 4 piston caliper for an Impreza Turbo (99).

Don't really see why you should buy a replacement, just buy some new seals pull out the pistons clean them up and put back in. That's what I did with my subaru oe 4 pots, came up good as new. I do have a spare caliper also but only for passenger side.
