Default Dump Valve needed

Hi

I believe the plastic thing shown in this image is the standard dump valve.

I need a replacement.

Anyone got one?

Thanks - Mark

Default Do non-standard dump valves have less connections ?

This might sound odd. I've tried to source the standard item (see pic above), and no joy , so I started looking at an aftermarket dump valve (eg bailey etc etc).

The all seem to have just two connections (one large , one small).

Is this right ?

Cheers - Mark

Yes that 'plastic thing' is your dump valve. Its a standard re-circulating valve.
The one pramrace will have fitted will be an aftermarket dump valve(Vent To Atmosphere) so when he lets of the pedal he will get the wooshy dumpy (never can explain that noise in words) noise as the pressure is released.

The after market valves do only have one large hose connection. Looking at your pic, the pipe you have in ure hand will connect to an after market dump valve. The other hose will be blocked off with a bung of sum description usually supplied with an aftermarket dumo valve.

HTH

As for sourcing an standard dump valve I am not sure were to suggest except main dealer or sum one that has changed theres for an aftermarket dump valve and doesnt want to keep their standard re-circ.

Anyway I have sourced a place that sells standard re-circs for you.

The bottom 3 which one to get would depend on you engine and year of car.
