Has anybody out there got a set of snow chains they would be willing to lend me ? I need them from 22nd Jan to 6th Feb. I've got the standard 16 inch wheels (205*55*16). I live in the Reading area.

Failing that then any suggestions for places where I can hire snow chains. After reading other posts I gather that I will only need one set for the rear wheels.

Sorry can't help with the snow chains but please remember to put them on the front wheels only (not the rears).

I hired mine from a company in Kent called Snowchains Europe who are conveniently located near the M20. They also have a security bin so you can collect or drop off at anytime. Mail me if you want more details.
