Default 97/98 Turbo2K wagon rear passenger door - red

In good nick....

I just used find-a-part to get one, got a reply from Hygrade
(bakupp@aol.com, 0161 688 9525) who charged me £95 for a badly scratched and multi-dented one that I've just sent back.

Could exchange a silver one (thanks to wible) that /is/ in good nick. Red is apparently a bugger for fading, and a respray is unlikely to get anything like a decent match

Ta,
Steve

OK will do. It's complete with glass and everything, so all you have to do is bolt it on. I'll be in touch once I've sorted the red one

Yeah, I dunno why, but it seems to be a common point of contact - maybe Subaru should include a spare one with the car?

Angry Hygrade - not

And after several calls and emails, Hygrade have still not refunded the money for the door. To see its nastiness (remembering that I'd asked them if it was scratched or dented, and they'd said 'nope'), you can check it out here:

Not a good advert for them, on the whole.

Default Hygrade ... and some bits (door and stalks)

... refunded money for door and postage (after a few more calls). Looks like they're incompetent rather than nasty.

Still got a silver nsr door for sale - now minus glass (plus the leftovers from swapping in the new red door - electric winder and window mechanism, door catch, door brackets and strap). Also stalks from a MY 98 (I think). I was hoping they'd be a straight swap for my MY 97, but reversed. sadly the fitting's different.
