Lens for Morrette headlight
...a blasted gritter on the motorway put a stone right through the left-hand headlight lens on my Morrettes.
Anyone got one of these spare for any reason, or alternatively know where I can get one?
I would consider buying an entire left-hand Morrette unit as a replacement, as there is also a crack in the plastic housing .....
cheers

Hmm what a bummer, you sometimes get the odd one coming up on ebay, same thing happened to me with my vectra morettes, cost me full price for one whole unit, this happened the day after i fitted them..
I invested in a set of protectors for them, i've just trawlled the net looking for the name of the company i got them from, but can't find it. Let me know if you want the site and i'll find the paperwork when i get home (next week)
I think i seen somewhere that morette had started supplying spares, worth looking into

The bugeye morette is available at TSL for £90.00 plus vat (driving / dipped lamp)
Thats the cheapest i've found
Check out my post a few up from this to see which one has gone on mine Remember that these are handed so a left hand one wont do for right hand one If yours is different, see how you get on on a full set on ebay etc. I'll do the same, if either of us find one then let us know it could be cheaper if we pool together

Yes mate you can but they aren't sold as a seperate item
They are only sold as units. If you manage just to get the lense on a broken unit, you will have to put the lamp in the oven to melt the seal of the glass, lift it out and then break off the broken lense.
Keep the replacement lense hot (expanded) and then place it over your unit and re-seal
Good luck mate, i'll keep you posted
