Question need 6 pot brakes and calipers

I have allready posted this in Wheels, tyres and brakes , but was hoping someone here may have some for sale, or know someone who is selling some.

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a set of brake discs (vented if possible)
with 6 pot calipers to fit an MY97 with 17" wheels ?

I don't know much about this kind of thing, so would really appreciate any help and/or advice

Thank you

I had to ask as I need them A.S.A.P

Just looking for standard Subaru 6 pot calipers, I was told that's what I need.

It's up to you if you want to get bigger brakes, but Subaru don't make 6 pots as far as I know; you don't need to do anything to the brakes when changing to bigger wheels unless you want better brakes or you want the brakes to fill the inside of the wheel?

I've got a long stand which you will defo need

lol

You could always get new discs and pads which would cost a lot less that 4 pots?
Subaru 4 pots are a good upgrade from 2 pots and can be bought for bewteen £300 and £400 second hand for the calipers, discs and pads in a good condition.

What year is your car, 93-96, is it a UK car?

Ok , I admit, I know nothing about all this, I havr just been told I shouldn't need new discs, but would like some anyway, suppose we'll have to wait and see how much it's going to cost to get the engine fixed before buying anything else, been off the road for ages now (suspected piston slap) The main thing is to get he running again.

It's an MY07 turbo 2000......UK spec

Bats, could I get back to you on that one ? The scoob's going to a dealer on Monday to get checked out to find out exactly what the problem is, once we know that, we can decide on other things
