Now the modding on the car is in full swing i need to upgrade from the standard ecu as the car will need mapping in the near future,so im after something along the lines of motec,link etc.Anyone selling something like this soon must be complete.Failing that i'll have to save some more quids and buy a new one

Darren have you tried looking in the for sale section someone is selling just what your after a Motec M48 Pro, alternatively buy an Apexi Power FC and get it mapped by Andy F when he comes down and map's mine, Peanuts and Mikes Scooby.

Hmm sounds interesting,i havent heard of this particular ecu before.Is it a direct replacement or just a piggy back? and where do i enquire about these and what sort of price?

It's a straight replacement ECU not a piggy back ecu, unplug your old ecu and throw it away and fit the Apexi in it's place. Loads of places sell them including Andy F. This is the same ECU that RC Developments Mits EVO was using for it's sub 11 second 1/4 miles at Pod on Sunday.

Check Keigo's ad in Parts & Accessories, he's selling a PFC and an AVC-R boost controller that'll do for yours. Plenty of people run the Apexi ecu
