Cycle carrier for roof bars.

I have a spare upright carrier for a mountain/racing bike, the type that grips the down tube, and has a pair of zip ties holding the wheels onto a "trough".
With an extra pair of ties to secure the front wheel to the bits that grip the down tube, for extra stability, I've carried all types of bikes at speeds up to and over the legal limit! (On a private track: )
Unless your bike has an odd/very oversized down tube, it'll do the job. I used it until my eldest's new bike had a hexagonal weird down tube, and wouldn't fit.
You can have it for £10 plus p&p, which I estimate at £5 or so.
