Early Laptop - With CD ROM in Notts Area to Borrow?

Hi folks,
AS above. My mate needs to program his Racelogic traction/launch control system on his 300ZX. However, the connection in his car is male 9-pin serial. So he needs to borrow for a very short period, an early laptop with a female 9-pin serial port so he can hook up and program the system (the vast majority of recent laptops are USB now).
Racelogic are unfortunately not being too helpful, so I thought I'd see if any of you Notts folks could help with the loan of the laptop?
