Is yours broken or did you steal a car?

Always suspicious of a request like this when the poster is on 4 posts. You are best off to put an explanation as to why you need one when it is an item such as this that is being requested. Just a thought.

Sorry for interupting the thread.....
I also need a new ignition barrel and key! Bought my nice shiny 1998/R Impreza last friday.....
Everything is good apart from the cunning ability to remove the keys with the engine running!!!!!!

Subaru have quoted £290 for the parts alone

Not sure what else to do!

What sort of price are we looking at? I know mine has a transponder built into the key, does this cause any problems fitting a new one?

 

sorry about that, no it not stolen just busted. but i managed 2 get complete lock set with 2 keys from subaru spares. 01422846868.
