i have a 1993 legacy turbo engine,
complete.
essentialy the same block / set up.
only the ecus i think are different, obviously you will retain your controllers.
its cheap, and in my garage.
have a think, may help you out of a tricky spot.

The garage fitting my new engine have been supplied a Phase 1 engine which is what you need, but I need a phase II engine for my 1999 WRX. I'll have a word with them and see how much they want for it, as it may save them taking it back to rochdale.
Where are you? I'm in Sheffield, & My car with the wrong enine is in Rotherham...
