I brought my car with a aftermarket exhaust already and have just fitted a decatted downpipe, as the centre pipe is easier to change i thought i should start looking now as the MOT is in july, its for a 94 WRX. Can anyone help.

I've got one but I think I may be a bit to far away
Also I doubt that the car will pass the MOT with just the centre cat as it's tiny. The huge one in the downpipe is the one that catches all the emissions & the centre one just mops up after it. If you've got a 2.5" system then you're better off taking a trip & an extra £20 to Scoobysport. Either that or find a garage that will do you a favour My car's done 2 MOT's & I haven't touched my my drainpipe of a zorst
Ask around as i'm sure someone on SN knows a place near you

I wouldn't worry too much. If it's a '94 then I believe (and yes, I know I may be wrong, in which case there'll be a queue of people along in just a sec to tell me - and the rest of the world - that I'm talking out of my bum)that there is no emissions chart available as it was not officially imported into the UK at that time.
So.
They go by the default figures for a car of that age. And if your WRX can't pass an MOT on that basis then I suspect it may need a whole lot more than just a cat...
Oh, mine sailed through. '95 and no cats in sight
So did my colleague's - '94 and similarly *****-free
But of you *really* want a cat then I have both downpipe and centre sections you can either buy or borrow. They'r ein North Oxon, so not too bad for you to get to either.
Cheers,
